Erindi & Social Media

socialmedia

We here at Erindi pride ourselves at delivering A-grade service, being as good as we can be at everything we do, as well as being leaders in the industry. We also see ourselves as being quite technology-savvy (for a game reserve that is!) and on the forefront social media networking. After a very successful run on our Facebook page, we recognise the importance of communicating to our audience in a more direct manner, by using social media websites. It adds a more personal touch to what we offer and who we are, but also keeps previous guests, and people with a general interest about activities at Erindi, in the loop.

That is why we embarked on becoming leaders in Social Media for Game Reserves in Southern Africa.

Erindi Private Game Reserve can now be found on the following Social Media Websites: (Please click and subscribe to our pages where necessary to stay connected to Erindi!)

Our Facebook page has grown to over 6000 active users in a few months, and is the main platform we use to post daily updates on any news, photos and stories written by our guides. Click on the image or here to view our facebook page.

The Erindi Twitter page is used in conjunction with the facebook page to break news and stories as they happen and we have over 400 followers.
Founded in February 2005, YouTube allows billions of people to discover, watch and share originally-created videos. We have created our own Youtube Channel and are currently working on some video projects, so stay tuned as they will be uploaded soon.
Pinterest is our latest addition with an exciting new social networking site that lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. We use our Pinterest page to "Pin" interesting stories and photos posted on our website and facebook page.
Foursquare is a social city guide with the ability to recommend places based on your activity, that of your friends and other foursquare users. Members can now note their location with a mobile phone by "checking in" at Erindi Private Game Reserve when also checking in at our reception desk.
Picasa is an image organizer and image viewer for organizing and editing digital photos, plus an integrated photo-sharing website, developed by Google. Our Picasa page contains all of our official promotional photos.
Tripadvisor is a travel website that assists customers in gathering travel information, posting reviews and opinions of travel-related content and engaging in interactive travel forums.  Erindi on Tripadvisor has recently received an Award of Excellence for constantly receiving good reviews from previous guests.
Safarious is a brilliant new website from wilderness professionals, world travelers, and technology experts  committed to the sustainable use of the worlds wild places and the people who inhabit them. The Erindi Safarious page contains photos and journals written by our very own guides!
WildEarth (WE) is an ecosystem of LIVE wildlife channels and broadcasters. WE believe that by broadcasting LIVE you can actually experience what nature is truly about, because you feel like you are there and because nothing is edited or scripted. Erindi is currently working on setting up our own LIVE webcam at one of our most active waterholes. Watch this space for more on this soon…
